Assistant Store Manager

What you'll do:

The Assistant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all store activities including but not limited to safety and environmental compliance, sales, production, maximum customer service and satisfaction. In the absence of the Store Manager the Assistant Manager assumes responsibility for the assigned location or locations. The position is responsible for the maximum security and protection of company assets. This position is a member of the Management Support Team.

Requirements:

Associate’s degree in industry, business, operations/logistics or sales and/or 1-3 plus years in industry related experience. Must have extensive experience and the ability to effectively execute supervisory tasks. Must have a valid driver’s license. Ability to be a self starter with excellent oral and written communication skills along with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications knowledge is required. Must be able to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative with minimal supervision.

Career Navigator
What you'll do:

The Career Navigator is a key member of Goodwill of Delaware & Delaware County’s Workforce Development team. This position operates under Goodwill’s Opportunity Accelerator service framework to support the team’s mission to implement the most effective strategies to help people find sustainable careers and improve their quality of life. The incumbent plays a pivotal role in guiding older adults from diverse backgrounds and vulnerable populations towards achieving their career goals. Through comprehensive assessments, individualized career plans, and tailored support services, the Career Navigator empowers older adults to navigate the complexities of the job market and secure meaningful employment opportunities. The Career Navigator actively participates in initiatives that showcase the positive impact of Goodwill’s Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP).
This position serves as a member of the Management Support Team.

Requirements:

At least two years of experience in human services, workforce development, human resources, training/instruction, or related field. Bachelor’s degree and certifications are preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Customer Service Associate
What you'll do:

The Customer Service Associate oversees and participates in all sales floor and backroom store activities in addition to maintaining a professional manner to ensure maximum internal and external customer satisfaction. Responsible for ensuring the security and protection of company assets.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, along with a minimum of 1-3 months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Donation Attendant

What you'll do:

Under the direct supervision of store management the Donation Attendant is responsible for greeting and assisting donors, breakdown of donations, keeping accurate donor records and providing donors excellent customer service. The Donation Attendant is also responsible to participate in all sales floor store activities and maintain a professional manner to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and confidence. In addition to providing maximum security and protection of company assets.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, along with a minimum of 1-3 months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have the ability to use a pallet jack and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

E-Commerce Lister

What you'll do:

The Ecommerce General Lister is responsible for listing donated products for sale online. The Ecommerce General Lister position requires the ability to thoroughly detail the traits of each to represent the correct condition, manufacturer and other and list it in the online marketplace.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent, along with a minimum of 1-3 months related experience and/or training. Knowledge of Ecommerce sales i.e. Google, eBay and Amazon highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required. Strong organizational skills a must. High level knowledge in at least 2 or more of the following areas a plus: Designer Brand Clothing, Games Systems, Vintage Games, High end watches, Artwork, Glassware, Silverwares, Vintage Items, Sports Figures, Teams, Collectibles and Musical Instruments.

E-Commerce Operations Manager
What you'll do:

The E-Commerce Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operation of e-Commerce including: all online sales channels, strategic growth planning, directing team members, and achieving financial performance congruent with the values and goals of Goodwill of Delaware & Delaware County. This position has the responsibility to ensure that all current and developing E-Commerce operations are handled in a consistent and efficient manner including shipping, supply and software vendor relationships, product acquisition and storage, and implementation of new initiatives. The E-Commerce Operations Manager performs the essential functions associated with this position in keeping with Goodwill’s policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local laws. The incumbent collaborates with all departments across the organization to develop and implement Goodwill’s strategic growth plan.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred. At least five years' work experience in an E-Commerce Operations environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Demonstrated knowledge of E-Commerce concepts, practices, and procedures. Demonstrated supervisory skills, and ability to manage a large team. Demonstrated computer skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other software programs.

E-Commerce Shipper
What you'll do:

The Ecommerce Shipper is responsible for ensuring that all merchandise sold to customers online is packaged securely and shipped in a timely and cost efficient manner.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent, along with a minimum of 1-3 months related experience and/or training. Basic computer skills are required.

Family Resource Specialist
What you'll do:

The Family Resource Specialist (FRS) is a key member of Goodwill of Delaware & Delaware County’s workforce development team. The FRS is responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to individuals who are experiencing barriers to employment. The FRS supports individuals to become economically self-sufficient by removing barriers to long-term workforce attachment through case management and financial coaching. The FRS actively participates in initiatives that showcase the positive impact of Goodwill’s workforce development programs and ensures that all position responsibilities are carried out in a manner that support Goodwill’s mission and make a positive difference in the community. This position serves as a member of the Management Support Team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or other related field, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Floating Store Manager
What you'll do:

The Floating Store Manager, reporting to the District Manager, is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple assigned retail stores within Goodwill of Delaware & Delaware County’s retail network. The Floating Store Manager is deployed to various stores, as needed, and provides direction and daily operation oversight of the assigned retail store to ensure achievement of budgeted goals. The Floating Store Manager is responsible for revenue generation for their store. This position is responsible for the implementation of business strategies and ensuring business profitability including proactively managing assigned retail location(s). The position is responsible for the implementation of effective business strategies that ensure business profitability; meeting and exceeding established metrics as it relates to revenues, wage to revenue ratios, transactions and transaction values, and production; and ensuring the maximum security and protection of company assets. The Floating Store Manager serves as a member of the Quality Team.

Requirements:

At least three years of retail management or related operational management experience. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

General Cleaner
What you'll do:

The General Cleaner is responsible for performing housekeeping duties. These duties include but are not limited to cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing, and dusting.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, along with a minimum of 1-3 months related experience and/or training. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Human Resource Generalist
What you'll do:

The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is responsible for providing day-to-day human resources guidance and support in the following areas: employee relations and engagement; performance management; leave administration; regulatory compliance; and onboarding. This role will ensure consistent application of policies and procedures and partners closely with supervisors and their respective teams to contribute to the overall success of the organization. The Human Resource Generalist is a member of the Quality Team. This position requires travel 20% of the time to locations in Delaware and Delaware County.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and at least four years of experience in a Human Resources field. Accredited HR certification preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Job Coach
What you'll do:

The Job Coach is a key member of Goodwill of Delaware & Delaware County’s workforce development team. The Job Coach is responsible for providing direct services to individuals with disabilities in areas such as career development, skills training, job readiness, vocational evaluations, job coaching, and/or job placement. The Job Coach works in collaboration with state agencies, schools, community partners, and natural support to provide quality services to the persons served. The Job Coach actively participates in initiatives that showcase the positive impact of workforce development programs and ensures that all position responsibilities are carried out in a manner that supports Goodwill’s mission and makes a positive difference in the community. This position will require up to 25% of local travel.

Requirements:

At least two years of direct experience working with individuals with disabilities. Bachelor’s degree in a human services field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Material Handler
What you'll do:

Organize, sort and redistribute all incoming merchandise to ensure safe and clean working environment using machinery as necessary. May also serve as back-up to Transportation if holding current drivers license and maintaining clean driving record.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, along with a minimum of 1-3 months related experience and/or training.

Material Handler
What you'll do:

The Team Lead is responsible for leading the daily flow of materials and processes in specifically assigned areas in warehouse and warehouse resources. This position will take the lead in overseeing the movement of all materials and other items between locations in a safe and efficient manner. The Team Lead is a member of the Management Support Team.

Requirements:

High School Diploma and/or equivalent, 3-5 years of industry related experience with at least three in a management or supervisory capacity or any equivalent of education and experience is required. Experience and the ability to effectively execute supervisory tasks in a warehouse/operations environment. Ability to be a self starter with excellent oral and written communication skills along with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications knowledge.

Outlet Manager
What you'll do:

The Outlet Manager is responsible for the direction and daily operation of the Outlet Store to ensure achievement of budgeted goals. The Outlet Manager is responsible for revenue generation for the Goodwill Recycling Center Outlet Store. This position is responsible for the implementation of business strategies and ensuring business profitability. The position is responsible for meeting and exceeding established retail metrics as it relates to revenue, wage to revenue ratios, transactions and transaction value. The position is responsible for the maximum security and protection of company assets. The Outlet Manager is a member of the Quality Team.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in industry, business, operations/logistics or sales related and/or 3-5 plus years in industry related experience. Must have extensive experience and the ability to effectively execute supervisory tasks in retail sales and/or operations management. Must have a valid drivers license. Ability to be a self starter with excellent oral and written communication skills along with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications required. Must be able to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative with minimal supervision.

Production Associate
What you'll do:

The Production Associate is responsible for sorting and processing quality merchandise efficiently in a timely manner and to assist in making price tickets on any special priced items. It is also the responsibility of the Production Associate to welcome and assist donors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, along with a minimum of 1-3 months related experience and/or training.

Sr. Material Handler
What you'll do:

The role of the Senior Material Handler is to organize, sort and redistribute all incoming merchandise to ensure safe and clean working environment using machinery as necessary. May also serve as back-up to Team Lead in their absence. In addition, to serving as back-up to Transportation if holding current driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, along with a minimum of 6-12 months related experience and/or training. Must be able to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative with minimal supervision.

Retail Team Lead

What you'll do:

The Team Lead oversees and participates in all day-to day store activities including safety compliance, front end and backroom oversight of the store. The Team Lead assists with functions related to sales, production and customer service and is a key holder responsible for store opening and closing activities as directed by the Store Manager and/or Assistant Manager. This position is a member of the Management Support Team.

Requirements:

A High School Diploma or G.E.D. and a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and/or training may be considered.

VP of Donated Goods - Retail
What you'll do:

The Vice President of Donated Goods Retail reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and provides leadership, strategic direction and oversight for the retail operations. Works in concert with other Leadership Team members to develop and guide strategic direction and develop tactical plans. Responsible for developing, mentoring and coaching direct and indirect reports in retail. Responsible for operating effectively across functional boundaries, building and sustaining external and internal relationships.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Manufacturing, Retail Management, or related field and at least seven years of progressive experience in manufacturing, retail, or related field. At least five years’ supervisory experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Workforce Development Specialist
What you'll do:

The Workforce Development Specialist is a key member of Goodwill of Delaware & Delaware County’s workforce development team. The Specialist is responsible to provide direct services to youth & adults with disabilities in areas such as career development, skills training, job readiness, vocational evaluations, job coaching, and/or job placement. The Specialist works in collaboration with state agencies, schools, community partners, and natural supports to provide quality services to persons served. The Specialist actively participates in initiatives that showcase the positive impact of workforce development programs and ensures that all position responsibilities are carried out in a manner that supports Goodwill’s mission and makes a positive difference in the community. This position will require up to 25% of local travel.
